Radio dialogues for two people

Speak, do not just read

Work in pairs with two training radios or simply face to face. One person takes the blue station, the other the yellow one. Speak the radio text only, the grey lines are instructions. Choose your role to hide your own lines and say them from memory.

Rules for every call

Listen before you transmit, so that you do not interrupt other traffic.
First the name of the station you are calling, then “this is” and your own name.
Use the lowest power that works and a suitable working channel; Channel 16 only for calling.
Press the PTT button, wait a moment, then speak clearly and not too fast. Release it to listen.
End with “Over” if you expect an answer and with “Out” at the end of the exchange.
